Theocracy

A few hours ago, Sen. Kerry conceded to Bush the election. While on the down side this means the eventual doom of Western civilization, on the up side it still leaves open the chance that the azzazzinashun-attempts-on-Presidents-elected-awn-a-Xer0-Yere quota will yet be fulfilled.
I may be in shock, but the feeling of doom hasn't quite yet set in. Maybe it's because I haven't seen Bu$h's nauseating victory smirk yet. I'm sure he'll have something poignant and eloquent in his victory speech, like "thanks for all yer hard work" and "gosh, ain't Kerry a great guy" and "compassion, resolve, moral values, spreading democracy, unite the country, God continue to bless America." I think the man shouldn't even bother speaking in whole sentences anymore. He can just spoon-feed the populace catch phrases. It'd be easier on him, and it's all the mean average intelligence of our nation can take, these days.
And in the background, Krl Rve laughs and laughs, because he's got this nation's number and he can call it as often as he wants.
I'm pretty sure that the next 10-15 years is going to be a complete wash. SC just elected a man to the senate that thinks unwed mothers and gays shouldn't be teachers. Three Supreme Court justices are about to die/retire, to be replaced by anyone the neo-cons want, since they control all three branches even more so now then yesterday, and thus will spell the end of Roe v. Wade, stem cell research and who knows what else.
The way I see it, we're heading into becoming a Theocracy in all but name. Our President believed the Lord would prevent any American casualties in Iraq, for god's sake.
Now that I think about it for a moment, it's just as possible that we'll become a corporate-owned nation-- or at least they'll finally admit that it's the case openly. Or better yet, both! A theocorpocracy! Hurray!!
Let's here it for the CSLJC Corporate States of the Lord Jesus Christ.
