My wife pointed me (and her other faithful readers) to a religion quiz (click) at a site called Beliefnet. As the quiz wasn't too long, I thought I'd give it a try out of curiosity. And now, the results:
Unitarian Universalism (100%)
Taoism (88%)
Liberal Quakers (87%)
Theravada Buddhism (84%)
Mahayana Buddhism (83%)
Secular Humanism (75%)
Neo-Pagan (71%)
Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (70%)
New Age (62%)
Hinduism (62%)
New Thought (60%)
Scientology (59%)
Nontheist (55%)
Jainism (53%)
Reform Judaism (51%)
Orthodox Quaker (51%)
Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (49%)
Sikhism (47%)
Bah ' Faith (43%)
Seventh Day Adventist (25%)
Orthodox Judaism (20%)
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (19%)
Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (17%)
Islam (15%)
Eastern Orthodox (10%)
Roman Catholic (10%)
Jehovah's Witness (0%)
I very much enjoy the fact that I have zero in common with Jehovah's Witness. I'll have to point that out next time a pair knock at my door. Or is it the Mormons that travel in pairs? I can't remember. And about the UU match: unless you're an out-and-out anti-spiritual atheist, how could you get anything other than 100 percent? Aren't they pretty much all-inclusive? Not surprising is the high match with Taoism & Buddhism. I'm totally at one with being materially detached an a pack rat at the same time.
