Alas, I had to change counters. News tells us of persistent porn pop-ups and system snafus emanating from the flagrantly foul FastOnlineUsers webdevice. On to stable, simple Sitemeter.

Meanwhile, I'm nervous about this whole Istanbul thing going on, especially after this morning's explosion, mainly cos H's friend from high school (with whom she's still close) just landed there a few days ago working on her dissertation (I believe). "The Terrorists" (read: The Commies, The Nazis, etc.) at work again. Like they're all in one group. Must be Al'Qaeda [sp], naturally, cos no other group in the world knows how to send off a car bomb. Actually in this case it wouldn't surprise me if it was, considering it was the British consulate attacked times with Bush's visit to Britain. But really, who can know for sure?

Anyway, she (H's h.s. friend) is in Turkey studying, of all things, trans-gender Turkish singers. This lends toward my theory that, eventually, there'll be nothing left about which to write a thesis/dissertation because they'll all be used up. Something this specific can only be a sign of this theory proving itself.

Time for me to stop writing, mainly cos all the words are looking wrong to me. I guess it's gong to be one of those days.
