Long-Ass Week
2003-09-12, 10:51 a.m.
This has been a long-ass week. Part of this stems from working extra hours at work, especially the 10 hourse I got to spend there on my birthday. Happy Freakin' Birthday. Really, it wasn't so bad, I was busy and the day went by pretty fast.
We had another man come through the house today. Ok, well, the breezeway. In the interest of making our house look expensive to fix, we had someone from NatureStone come look at the room to get an estimate on redoing the floor, which absolutely needs to be done. Currently it's a fine example of the workings of plate tectonics. Science teachers welcome, ask about group discounts.
This weekend we're going camping on Kelly's Island (I'd provide the obligatory link to island info, but the site we found was so atrociously overdone with bells and whistles that I won't subject you to it). All signs point to decent weather, which means it'll probably rain all weekend. But I'm not a pessimist.
Must go, work's tendrils are around my throat and pulling me in it's general direction.
