Fashionable New Design
2005-03-20,
Tada! Here we are, a brand new template for the ol site. Whatcha think? Its certainly a little livelier, without being overstated. Im sure Ill tweak it over time. It may not even stay this way, lest I get sick of it.
Poor Andrew, Diaryland has been giving him much trouble. I hope things go better for him now. I feel like its partially my fault, as I was looking to change my template right around the time of the crash. Change is bad, people. But at least I'm a paid member.
Actually, change is also good. We (meaning I) managed to set up our new ceiling fan in the kitchen. This, after having to go back to the store and get a part eplaced that was broken at the onset. Luckily they didnt bother to make a fuss at our trying to get it fixed, which is a nice change of pace these days. They just swapped the part out and sent us on our way. Anyway, our new fan looks like this, except its green neon instead of blue. One step closer to our dream 50's style dining room, sans any Coke ads. Which is fine by me. Kitsch does not always equal Coke.
